A Village Built for People Who Gave Their Lives to Mission
Sebring Retirement Village has been home to retired missionaries since 1966.
Modest, Affordable Homes for Retired Missionaries
The Village was built for retirees of SIM. It is now open to retired missionaries of other like-minded, qualifying agencies as well.
Sebring Retirement Village is a non-profit community operated by SIM USA, Inc., with offices in Charlotte, North Carolina. The homes remain SIM’s property.
One of the Village’s outstanding features is the camaraderie and fellowship that comes from living with others who have shared the missionary experience across the globe. Nobody here needs the life explained to them.

Fifty Acres Around a Lake
A small lake with a fountain sits at the center of the Village, with the chapel on its own peninsula, homes along quiet lanes, the Fellowship Hall, the pool, and the Lodge, with an orange grove next door.
Life at the VillageFour Marks of the Community
Neighbors who served across the globe, a weekly prayer meeting in the chapel, and three week-long Bible and mission conferences each year with well-known speakers.
Residents keep serving the Lord: at the Village, in the town, in local churches, and some overseas on short-term assignments while their home is cared for.
The administration takes the care and well-being of the community as its foremost task, with Health Advocates alongside residents and the Lodge for assisted living.
103 homes of various types and layouts, with the aim of making each new home as comfortable and accommodating as possible.
“The family atmosphere here is outstanding. SIM Sebring is a great place to retire, and at the same time, to keep serving.”
