Care That Grows With You
The Village administration takes the care and well-being of the community as its foremost task.
Health Advocates
Each resident keeps his or her own doctor. Health Advocates are specially trained volunteers who can accompany residents to doctor appointments and on errands as needed, and who stop by to check in on how things are going.
Two hospitals and nursing home facilities are located in the town of Sebring, and doctors’ offices are close by.
A Health Advocate is assigned when a resident asks for one. Most come with a background in the health services field, though they are no longer active practitioners.

Assisted Living, on Campus, Among Friends
The Lodge is the Village’s own 15-bed limited assisted living residence, with staff on site 24 hours a day, available when a resident needs help with the activities of daily living. It is licensed by the State of Florida and open only to Village residents, subject to bed availability.
Familiar Faces, Close By
A move to the Lodge is a move across the lake, not across the country. Neighbors, the chapel, and the Fellowship Hall stay within reach.
The Lodge provides meals, help with medications, and personnel on site 24 hours a day for emergencies. An activities coordinator keeps a full slate of activities suited to Lodge residents.
Village residents have priority. If you or a family member are thinking about the Lodge, the conversation starts with the Village Manager.
“Here at the Village, new meaning is given to the old phrase ‘growing old gracefully.’”
